Lesley Craze

After spending all of the set up day wearing old clothes, hammering, drilling, unwrapping and arranging to build our stand, the next day we had to get our best dresses and heels on ready for the private view! The opening night of COLLECT went fantastically. I shot this great picture of Lesley Craze sitting in front of Michihiro Sato's work. She is wearing a Professor Yasuki Haramatsu brooch and Wendy Ramshaw earrings.

COLLECT 2012

We have been so busy the past few weeks preparing for and taking part in COLLECT 2012 which was held at the Saatchi Gallery, London. Collect is an International art fair for contemporary objects which is now its its fourth year and it is the premier destination for anyone passionate about seeing or buying contemporary craft. 31 of the worlds best textiles, sculpture, jewellery and object galleries showcased new work by specially selected makers. Here are some photos of us setting up our stand.

Today we had a lovely french lady visit our gallery for the first time after it was recommended to her by the owner of Iki Gallery - a new jewellery gallery which has just opened in Paris. So if any of you are in Paris, go and visit Iki Gallery and tell them that we sent you!

We had a little look on their website and we love the makers iki gallery show (some of which we also have here). We particularly like this brooch called Repunzel by Pauline Edie and also these rings by Marianne Anderson. Coincidentally, both makers studied at The Glasgow School of Art in Scotland.
